Privacy Policy
Odexly builds local-first browser tools and limits collection to information needed for product operation, support, security, and future paid services.
Last updated: June 22, 2026. This policy covers Odexly browser extensions, website services, support, and future paid checkout where applicable.
Information stored locally
Odexly extensions may store drafts, snippets, notes, workspace content, rules, schedules, preferences, and product history in Chrome extension storage on your device. Product-specific details are shown on each product page. Local data is not automatically uploaded to an Odexly server unless a future sync or backup feature clearly asks for permission.
PasteGuard data processing
PasteGuard inspects editable text locally to detect possible secrets and sensitive information. It has no backend, does not upload raw clipboard or editor text, and stores only settings, trusted scopes, custom rules, and aggregate warning counters.
Information we may receive
If you contact support@odexly.com, we may receive your email address, product name, browser version, order email, screenshots, logs, and any details you choose to provide. Please remove passwords, API keys, payment data, and personal identifiers before sending support materials.
Payments and merchant of record
Paid plans are not currently available. When checkout is enabled, purchases may be processed by Paddle or another payment provider identified at checkout. That provider may collect buyer email, billing country, payment details, tax information, invoices, and fraud-prevention signals under its own privacy policy. Odexly does not store full card numbers.
How information is used
Information may be used to provide support, deliver product access, verify future license status, respond to refund or billing questions, improve reliability, prevent misuse, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, or platform obligations.
Data sharing and sale
Odexly does not sell personal information, browsing history, user-created extension content, or detected secrets. Limited information may be shared with service providers only when necessary for checkout, licensing, support, security, hosting, or legal compliance.
User choices and retention
You can disable or remove an extension, use product clear/reset controls, and export a local backup where supported. Removing an extension or clearing Chrome extension storage may permanently remove local data that was not backed up. Support and transaction records may be retained only as long as reasonably required for service, legal, tax, and dispute purposes.
