Extension overview

What this extension helps you do.

Odexly Forms helps create website-specific autofill rules for repetitive form fields.

Instead of relying on broad autofill behavior, users can pick a field, save a value, and control when matching fields are filled on that website.

Core capabilities

  • Create autofill rules directly from a webpage by picking a field and saving the intended value.
  • Review, edit, duplicate, enable, disable, or remove rules by website.
  • Run manual Fill Now actions from the popup or use optional automatic filling after a page loads.
  • Adjust matching thresholds to make field detection stricter or more flexible.
  • Use Safe Mode to avoid filling password, OTP, payment-like, hidden, or security-related fields.
  • Import and export local rules and configure shortcuts for field picking or manual filling.

Practical workflows

  • Fill repeated non-sensitive form values on websites where browser autofill is not flexible enough.
  • Test form behavior with controlled website-specific values.
  • Use manual filling when automatic filling would be too broad for the page.

Install and first use

  1. 1Pick a field: Open the popup on a webpage and select the field you want to save.
  2. 2Save the rule: Enter the value, website scope, and matching options.
  3. 3Fill when needed: Use Fill Now manually or enable automatic filling according to your settings.

Privacy and data handling

  • Autofill rules are stored locally in Chrome extension storage
  • Safe Mode helps avoid sensitive fields
  • Active-tab focus reduces unintended filling on inactive pages
  • No account is required for local rule management

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm the extension is enabled in Chrome and allowed on the current site.
  • Reload the page after changing extension permissions or settings.
  • When contacting support, include the product name, Chrome version, expected behavior, and actual behavior. Do not send secrets.
