Extension overview

What this extension helps you do.

Odexly Workspaces is a visual project workspace for keeping browser-based project materials in one structured place.

Each workspace can hold saved tabs, notes, tasks, deadlines, daily logs, sketches, mind maps, status, priority, tags, and progress information.

Core capabilities

  • Create separate workspaces for projects, research topics, clients, study sessions, ideas, or personal plans.
  • Save tabs into workspaces and return to them later with more context.
  • Track tasks across Todo, Doing, and Done columns.
  • Add deadlines, reminders, rich notes, daily logs, sketches, and mind maps.
  • Search across workspace names, notes, tasks, logs, tags, mind map nodes, tab titles, URLs, and domains.
  • Export and import workspace data as JSON backups.

Practical workflows

  • Organize research, project planning, development workflows, or client work around separate workspaces.
  • Track project activity through tasks, logs, deadlines, and saved tabs.
  • Archive or pause workspaces so the main workspace list stays focused.

Install and first use

  1. 1Create a workspace: Name it after a project, client, task, study topic, or research area.
  2. 2Add context: Save tabs, write notes, create tasks, set deadlines, sketch ideas, or build a mind map.
  3. 3Resume later: Search, reopen tabs, review logs, and continue the project with context already grouped together.

Privacy and data handling

  • Workspace data is stored locally in the browser
  • Backups are exported and imported by the user
  • Designed for organizing user-created content and saved tabs
